VW Golf MK6 oil filter housing is mounted to the engine block and houses both the engine oil filter and the oil cooler. The factory plastic unit is prone to cracking over time due to aging and repeated exposure to heat cycles, which often leads to oil leaks and in other cases mixture of coolant within the engine oil making you assume a headgasket has failed. Upgrade to our aluminum unit to solve this issue!
